What is the difference between Activation Rate and Engagement Rate?

Activation rate
The activation rate shows your fanbases' average activity per month. This is determined by actions that are directly related to the campaign content.
The Activation Rate is calculated with the following formula: ((#likes + #comments + #replies + (2 x #share)) / (#fans x #messages)) x 100%.

Example: ((100 likes + 10 comments + 20 replies + (2 x 15 shares)) / (100 fans x 3 messages)) x 1000 = (160/300) x 100% = 53,3 % Activation Rate.

Engagement ratio
The engagement ratio is your fanbases' average activity per month with regarding your project messages. It is determined by actions that are directly related to the messages' content.

The Engagement Ratio is calculated with the following formula: ((#likes + #comments + #shares) / (#fans)) x 100%.

Example: ((100 likes + 10 comments + 15 shares)/(100 fans) x 100% = (125/100) x 100% = 125% Engagement Ratio.
